Berlin has a suite of Black History month events thanks to Black History Berlin 2012. A team of talented and resourceful people from Dialogue Books (Sharmaine Lovegrove), Sand Journal and Paula Varjack came together to offer English-Language Black History Month Events.

I went to the first event, Writing and Difference: Exploring Black Women Writers and The Other at Dialogue Books and loved it! The readings were superb and the wine and discussion afterwards was one of the highlights of my entire time in Berlin.
